Nickelmine Staging Area

The club's day-trip staging lot, about 13 km north of Hope. Turn left off Highway 1 onto Nickelmine Road and follow the club signs. Rough gravel, and the club campground is next to it. Gate and fee rules aren't posted, so check with the club first.
The Fraser Valley Dirt Riders Association has kept up the Nickelmine trails, old mining and forest roads, for more than 30 years. Its page describes a day-trip staging area, a main campground and a second camp, Pitpass, about a kilometre north. Trails run from easy to expert, with loops for beginners and kids. Access has been limited in the past, so ask the club about the current rules.
